9 years ago, when I started to ponder the idea of leaving my corporate position and starting a new business, fear overwhelmed me. 

I started to ask myself these questions. 

* Am I really thinking of leaving the job that I just took a 30 year loan out to get my undergrad and Masters Degree? 

*Was I really thinking of leaving the job my parents were proud to brag about ?

*Was I really thinking of leaving a job that had a "secure" paycheck ? 

Then I started to re-word my questions..

*Does the company you are giving your heart and soul too, really care about my future? 

* Why am I working for a pharmaceutical company that was doing more harm than good to people? A place where I was losing my soul more and more each day.

* Why am I willing to dedicate my life more to them than my future children ?

Once I started asking myself better questions, I started to have better answers and more clarity.


I knew I was smart enough to go out on my own and create my future. The only problem was I didn't know where to start. Hard work, being smart , consistency, persistence was nothing that I lacked. 

I just lacked the BLUEPRINT on how to make it happen. 

When I got the right blueprint and a mentor I could trust everything changed for me. My husband Brian at the time was the biggest skeptic saying "Rhonda, you 
are a Corporate Exec with a MBA why would you even consider an internet business?" 


Of all the people, I thought my husband would support me as I was doing this for our family. We didn't have any children at this time though we wanted to, and putting a child in day care was something I vowed to never do. I had this desire to be biggest influence in my child's life and would do whatever it took to make it happen.

This was my best option. 

I did not have overnight results. I Invested over $20,000 into websites , systems, and training, buying leads for potential customers in the first month with no success. 

I had stretched every single credit card and but I was willing to do whatever it took to have results.

I wish that I could tell you it was an overnight success for me and I made money back right away, but I will give you the100% real story. It took me over 3 months into my online business journey before I even made my 1st sale.


I actually called over 3,000 leads before I got my 1st sale. 


I'll be the 1st to admit that I'm so glad that we don't do any more phone calling, but in the beginning that is what it took, so I did it. In my7th month of starting my business I made $37,000 in a single month. 

Let's just say my husband and his talks stopped instantly. I actually retired him from his corporate job as a robotics engineer just 8 months later. He worked for 10 years with the same company and hated it. 

He was not the only one in my ear saying, "Rhonda what are you doing"? 

I just smiled and kept my nose to the grindstone. It hurt a lot when people doubted me...some of them were the closest to me, but it drove me even harder to prove them all wrong. 

Now, my husband is in business with me and is my biggest supporter. 


One of my biggest fears were.... "what would people say if I failed"? 

When I realized that people would be judging me and attempting to steal my dreams.....they were doing nothing to better themselves & were unwilling to step into the unknown. It was at that moment when I stopped letting it bother me.

My football watching "All American" husband admitted a few years later he was just scared of change. 

There was a lot nights when things were not working out that I started to doubt myself. I felt so alone on my journey....that at one point, I thought about quitting and just walking away quietly. 

Then, I remembered why I had this vision planted in my membrane in the first place. My vision was bigger than me & it was for my family and MYSELF, so that when 
I passed on I could say I lived a life worth watching a movie about.
